George Foreman, who won a controversial majority decision over Axel Schulz to retain the International Boxing Federation heavyweight title, could be ordered to fight the German again, according to The New York Times.
The IBF president, Bob Lee, said a special seven-man committee would review a video recording of Saturday's 12-round fight next week in a meeting in New Jersey after Schulz filed a formal protest. If the committee felt that the decision was unjust, Lee told the newspaper, he would demand Foreman fight Schulz again in his next bout or be stripped of the title.
