The British Ice Hockey Association has called a meeting of British league clubs outside the Superleague next Tuesday to discuss the season's competition with a proposed wage ceiling likely to be adopted.

Manchester Storm have appointed American Kurt Kleinendorst as head coach and director of ice hockey operations. The new coach has previously had spells with the US Olympic squad and New York Rangers.
