The former Cardiff Devils defender struck the game-winning goal with 29 seconds left in the Boxing Day battle to cap a sterling fightback and keep Steelers on the heels of the leaders, London Knights.
In Wales, netminder Frank Pietrangelo gave away one present too many as Manchester Storm were beaten 7-5 by Cardiff. It was all too much for Storm's coach Kurt Kleinendorst who withdrew the Stanley Cup winner after 13 minutes with his side 4-0 behind.
