Harayir could strengthen Hamdan Al Maktoum's hand by joining Shahid in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood on 26 August after bouncing back to form at Newbury yesterday.

Harayir was never seriously pressed in the Group Three Hungerford Stakes as she recorded her first success since the 1,000 Guineas, by three-quarters of a length from Nijo.

Bosra Sham's comfortable victory over Faraway Waters, in the Sparsholt Fillies' Maiden Stakes, earned the juvenile a quote of 14-1 from Coral for next year's 1,000 Guineas.
