BOXING Frank Bruno's 13-year quest for the world heavyweight title is to take him to Shepton Mallet, Somerset, when he takes on Rodolpho Marin, a 30-year-old Puerto Rican, on 18 February.

The prize for Bruno, 33, is likely to be a fourth world title chance. Defeat, however, would herald the end of a 13-year professional career, Bruno, beaten by Tim Witherspoon, Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis in previous attempts, said: "I'm hungrier than ever - starving, even - for a world title. I know this will be my last chance. I can't afford any slip-up."

The World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Oliver McCall, who stopped Britain's Lennox Lewis in September, will defend his title against the 45-year-old Larry Holmes on 8 April at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
