Leroy Burrell, the World 100m record-holder, will not compete again this season because of a swollen tendon in his left foot. Burrell now wants to concentrate on the 1996 Olympics while resting the foot. "It's probably best I don't run," he said. "This whole season has been disappointing, but I'm looking to the Olympics.
