Rugby League

Marc Ellis, the New Zealand rugby union record-holder, confirmed yesterday that he has switched codes by signing for Auckland Warriors. Ellis, 24, revealed he had sealed a three-year contract with the club that is aligned to Rupert Murdoch's Super League.
