McGregor breaks records

Yvonne McGregor shattered her own British and championship records on her way to the fastest qualifying time in the women's 3,000 metres pursuit title in the National Track Championships at the Manchester Velodrome yesterday. The Yorkshire rider, who has also taken the world one-hour crown on this track, set a time of 3min 35.625 sec as she launched her defence of the title.
