Miller's role as striker
Charlie Miller makes his Scotland Under-21 debut in Athens today with a bright future being forecast for the Rangers man.
Miller, 18, makes his bow against Greece in the Nikos Goumas stadium, where the Ibrox club lost 2-0 to AEK in the European Cup in August. Tommy Craig, the Under-21 coach, said: "Charlie looks like one of these guys who is comfortable whenever he steps upa level. I've been very impressed with him since he broke into the Rangers team this season."
Miller has been in midfield for his club but moves up front alongside Steve Crawford of Raith Rovers. His Ibrox team-mate, Neil Murray, assumes the captaincy.
Finland are the group leaders with six points after victories over Scotland and Greece who, like Russia, have three points.
