Prize money for the three-day Derby meeting at Epsom next month has risen by pounds 90,000. Added prize money now amounts to pounds 1,150,000, with the Oaks now worth pounds 200,000-added, the Coronation Cup pounds 150,000-added and the Derby pounds 850,000, with half a million pounds going to the winner.

Epsom has changed the running order on Derby day, Saturday 8 June. The first five races will now be three handicaps, plus the Coronation Cup and the Derby.
