DOCTORS in Nice have begun the process of bringing the Austrian Karl Wendlinger out of his controlled deep coma. They expect the Sauber-Mercedes driver, injured in practice for Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix, to be fully conscious by the weekend and say his progress is 'generally encouraging'.
