Italy's Gabriele Tarquini tightened his grip on the British Touring Car Championship, driving his Alfa Romeo to a pair of hard-fought second places in front of a near-capacity Bank Holiday crowd at Brands Hatch. Both of yesterday's races were won by the reigning champion Joachim Winkelhock.
