The wins put Lowes on 293 points in the overall standings
Alex Lowes recorded his first double success of the British Superbike Championship with a pair of victories at Cadwell Park yesterday.
The Samsung Honda rider led from pole position to the chequered flag to win race one, before taking full advantage of the crash of Tyco Suzuki’s Josh Brookes, moments after he had taken the lead on the final lap in race two.
The wins put Lowes on 293 points in the overall standings, in second place, 37 points behind Shane Byrne on the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki. Brookes is a further nine points behind, with James Ellison fourth and Ryuichi Kiyonari fifth.
