Motorcycling: Lorenzo shines for home fans
Jorge Lorenzo captivated the Spanish crowd in practice for tomorrow's Catalan Grand Prix. After taking up the MotoGP championship lead following a dominant win 12 days ago in the wet in Le Mans, the Majorcan was comfortably the fastest man again around Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.
Casey Stoner struggled with set-up issues in the second run for Repsol Honda. Instead, it was Lorenzo who shone with a time of 1:42.077 towards the end of second practice on his Yamaha.
