Halifax drew level with St Helens in third place in the Centenary Championship with a 22-18 victory over Bradford Bulls yesterday while Sheffield Eagles made it eight League wins in a row with a 42-12 success at Castleford.
Halifax's teenage winger Damien Munro impressed, scoring a superb try 10 minutes from the end of the Yorkshire derby, played at Huddersfield's McAlpine Stadium.
Munro, playing only because of Halifax's extensive injury list, raced over in the far corner to seal his side's first away success over Bradford in nine games.
Sheffield, the form team in the Championship, claimed their first victory at Wheldon Road, scoring eight tries in the process.
