England A 298-6 dec and 10-2 Patron's XI 187-9 dec

Only 48 hours after arriving in Pakistan to act as cover for the injury- troubled Mike Smith, Tim Munton took 5 for 54 for England A in Lahore yesterday in his first bowl for three months.

Munton quickly settled into an impressive rhythm and reduced the Patron's XI to 48 for 6 with a spell of four wickets for three runs in 13 balls. Smith managed 12 overs but said he still does not feel comfortable with his rib cartilage problem.
