The Miami Dolphins ran out comfortable 38-14 winners in the first game to be held in London this season when they faced the Oakland Raiders. Today, it's the turn of the NFC North's Detroit Lions (5-2) and the NFC South's Atlanta Falcons (2-5) to meet in front of a packed out Wembley crowd.

Andrew Luck will be hoping to continue his strong form for the Lions this season, and the quarter-back needs just one more touchdown pass to set a new franchise record in beating Hall Of Fame quarter-back Bobby Layne's 118 touchdown throws for the Lions. However, he will have to do so without his go-to man, as wide receiver Calvin Johnson Jr has been ruled inactive due to injury.

The Falcons are looking to end a run of four straight defeats, with their last win coming in the 56-14 rout of the Tampa Bay Bucaneers back in week three. The pressure is on quarter-back Matt Ryan to turn around the Falcons' fortunes, but another defeat here today would likely put an end to any post-season hopes they still harbour.

The Lions' win percentage over the Falcons of .657 is the highest of any NFC opponents, and the second in the NFL behind their record of .789 against the Cleveland Browns.

The two sides last met in December 2012, with the Falcons running out 31-18 winners at Detroit.
