Fans of the Super Bowl will be able to watch highlights moments after they happen after the National Football League agreed a deal with YouTube owners Google.
The NFL YouTube channel will provide a game preview, in-game highlights and recaps and analysis. The highlights will not be live, but happen a few moments after they happen in real time.
"The focus is on non-live highlights," said NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy.
Before this deal, NFL highlights were only available on its website or that of a broadcast partner. Until now the only way to find NFL clips on the site was from fans uploading content either through footage in the stadium, or by filming a recording from the TV.
Google has been reported as paying a "multi-million dollar" sum for the rights to the channel, according to the Wall Street Journal.
