Tom Brady has been crowned the MVP after guiding the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a famous win in Super Bowl LV.

Brady threw for three touchdown passes including two to former New England Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski on the way to a 31-9 win.

Leonard Fournette added another score on the ground as the Bucs converted being the first team to play a Super Bowl in their own stadium into a famous victory.

The win, Tampa's second in their history, is Brady's seventh, extending his personal NFL record.

"I’m so proud of all these guys here, we had a rough month in November, but we came together at the right time. We knew this was going to happen," Brady said after lifting the Vince Lombardi trophy.

"I’m not making any comparisons [to New England], every year is amazing, this team is world champions forever, you can’t take this away from us."

The MVP award is Brady's fifth of his career, another record mark.
