Nicholl returns

Jimmy Nicholl, who was dismissed as manager of Millwall earlier this year and was sent off on his debut for Bath City last weekend, has rejoined Raith Rovers as assistant manager.

The Dutchman Rinus Israel has signed a contract to coach Ghana until the 1998 Word Cup. He won 47 caps for the Netherlands and was in Feyenoord's 1970 European Cup-winning side.
