Alen Boksic, the 27-year-old Croatian striker, returned to the Italian Serie A side Lazio yesterday for around pounds 7.5m, after only a year with Juventus.

Nationwide League clubs have been allocated pounds 55m by the Football Trust to go towards ground safety and improvement work.
