Andy Green, the 23-year-old winner last year of the Crebbin Cup in the BT National Match Racing Championship, was last night celebrating winning second place to Denmark's Morten Hendriksen in the Algarve Cup. Green, with his crew Mark Heeley, David Munge and Mark Turner, in a J24, was warming up for Britain's only Grade 1 event next week, the Lymington Cup.

Adrian Donovan was the early leader in Heath Insured II as the 14 yachts in the BT Challenge started their fifth leg from Capetown to Boston in light airs and warm sunshine.
