A fatal accident inquiry will be held next month into the death of James Murray, who suffered fatal injuries during a British title bout with Drew Docherty last year.

Tommy Morrison yesterday pleaded guilty to transporting a loaded firearm. He received a six-month suspended sentence. The HIV-positive heavyweight was fined US$100 and ordered to complete 30 hours of community service by talking to students about Aids.

Police in Oklahoma allegedly found a loaded .22-calibre pistol in Morrison's car in July. Authorities had to tow the car after Morrison suffered a medication-triggered seizure while stopped at a traffic light. He is scheduled to appear on the undercard of the George Foreman-Crawford Grimsley fight in Japan on Sunday.
