Rugby League

Salford Reds, the First Division champions, have signed Leeds' New Zealand prop forward, Esene Faimalo, for an undisclosed fee. The 29-year-old becomes the Reds' second recruit since clinching promotion. Their first was the former Australia prop, John Cartwright.
