Rugby League

Bradford's centre Matt Calland has been suspended for the remainder of the Stones Centenary Championship season following his third dismissal of the season. Calland, who was also fined pounds 100, appeared before the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee in Leeds yesterday after his sending off for a high tackle in the 44-34 win at Warrington on 20 December.
