David O'Leary has ruled himself out of the Republic of Ireland manager's job. The former Arsenal and Leeds defender, who won 68 international caps with the Republic, said: "I was invited to go along for an interview but I declined. I felt that there were enough people going for it. I think it is a job for an older man." But the 37-year-old O'Leary did leave the door open to involve himself in the Republic set-up. "Maybe if they appointed somebody that I liked and if they wanted me to go in and help them as a No 2, similar to England with Bryan Robson, then I could be interested."
