Exciting the Games may be, sexist they certainly are. There are 10,617 athletes entered in Barcelona, of whom 7,589 are men (which leaves just 3,028 women). Thirty five of the teams have no women competitors at all, and a further 25 just one. Oh, and those from Luxembourg are the oldest - 44 on average.
