WITH all the attention on Michael Jordan and his dream team, it might be forgotten that there are other basketball teams actually fighting for medals.

Take the Angolans. Routed by the United States on day one they scared the life out of the fancied Germans yesterday before being beaten by just one point 64-63. Or the Unified Team, who like the Germans, have a 100 per cent record after beating Australia 85-63.

Another team making a perfect start are Lithuania, who beat Venezuala 87-79.
