TURKEY is not yet a rowing power to cause Steve Redgrave too many sleepless nights. They have a solitary oarsman at Lake Banyoles, and Ali Riza Bilal's Olympic adventure came to an embarrassing - and early - end when he fell out of his boat midway through his sculls heat. A quick outing in the rescue launch returned him to dry land rather quicker than he might otherwise have made it. He was placed last when he went swimming.
