THE nine-strong Iraqi team are very popular - and that's official. Dr Saad Aathami, their chef de mission, said: 'Everything is going well. There is no hint of hostility. We're mixing with all the other athletes, talking, exchanging pins. We have met many Americans and got on well. They have told us they were sorry for what happened in the war and they just wanted to meet us and to say how much they loved the Iraqi people.'
