Sir Chris Hoy aims to bring the curtain down in style at the Olympic Velodrome today by winning the sixth gold of his career in the keirin.
Hoy is hot favourite to retain his Olympic title in the last track event of London 2012. And just to make it even tougher for his rivals, when he recaptured the keirin title at the World Championships this year in Melbourne he unsettled the opposition with a dramatic switch of his usual strategy.
Rather than leading from the front and beating them with pure strength, Hoy crushed his opponents with a perfectly timed late charge. Either way, Hoy is the man to beat tonight.
