Today's Britwatch: Tuesday 4 September
MATT WALKER, SWIMMING
In the men's 50m freestyle S7 at 8.03pm, Manchester's Matt Walker hopes finally to improve on the silvers he won in the event in Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004 and Beijing in 2008 if he can navigate safely through the morning's heats at the Aquatics Centre.
PAUL BLAKE, ATHLETICS
The world champion in the T36 400m, Blake will look to take his fine form into the Paralympics in the final of the event tonight at 8.47pm. The 22-year-old could be celebrating twice by the end of the week - he is also set to compete in the T36 800m on Thursday.
DAVID WEIR, ATHLETICS
The wheelchair racer is going for a eighth Paralympic medal, and a fourth gold when he defends his T54 1500m title at 9.42pm. Weir reached tonight's final by winning his heat yesterday after having just two hours' sleep following his win in the 5,000m late the night before. He will be challenged again by Australia's Kurt Fearnley.
