The former Tottenham and Newcastle manager is now coach of the ese club, Shimizu S-Pulse, and he guided them to success in the Nabisco Cup (the J.League Cup) final on Wednesday with a penalty shoot-out win over Verdy Kawasaki, following a 3-3 draw after extra time. "I was nervous throughout the match, in which we gave all we had," a happy Ardiles said.
