Paris St-Germain will play Rapid Vienna in the final of the Cup- Winners' Cup in Brussels on 8 May after semi-final second leg victories for both clubs last night.

France, who have only Marseille's controversial European Cup triumph of 1993 to show for their years of endeavour, thus have two finalists this year following Bordeaux's success in the Uefa Cup.

The mercurial Patrice Loko scored the solitary goal in the 59th minute at the Parc des Princes as PSG recorded a 2-0 aggregate victory over Deportivo La Coruna of Spain.

Loko's fellow Fench international striker Youri Djorkaeff, who scored the winner in the first leg after coming on as a late substitute, broke between two defenders and delivered a precise pass to Loko, who shot home from the edge of the penalty area.

The Austrian champions enjoyed a more comfortable passage, beating Feyenoord 3-0 in Vienna and 4-1 on aggregate, with all the goals coming in the first half. Carsten Jancker scored twice, either side of one from Christian Stumpf.

Fabio Capello, who is set to win his fourth Serie A title as coach of Milan, is to join Real Madrid next season, according to the Spanish club's president, Lorenzo Sanz.
