AMARI KING, the winner of three of his four starts under National Hunt rules last season, has been tested positive for three different prohibited substances in his urine. An inquiry by the Jockey Club's disciplinary committee will be held 'in due course'.
Tests on the 10-year-old, taken after winning at Stratford on 16 April this year, have confirmed the presence of phenylpropanolamine, norpseudoephedrine and ephedrine.
The hunter-chaser's other wins were at Sandown on 29 March and Folkestone on 10 May, both 1994.
