The mud-loving Astrac completed a hat-trick in the Listed Prix Contessina over six furlongs at Evry yesterday. The Gay Kelleway-trained five-year-old paid a dividend of 41-10.

Ridden by Seb Sanders, Astrac beat Linoise by a length. Bryn Palling's Carranita was fourth with Mark Johnston's Branston Abby back in seventh.
