Racing: Attivo dies

ATTIVO, the 1974 Triumph Hurdle, Chester Cup and Northumberland Plate winner who was bred and owned by Peter O'Sullevan, died yesterday aged 22. He was humanely destroyed after suffering a twisted gut at Downs House, Epsom, the yard where he had been trained by Cyril Mitchell and his son Philip.
