BARON FERDINAND was the horse in demand yesterday for Saturday's principal race in Britain, the pounds 40,000 John Smith's Magnet Cup at York. Coral report heavy support for Roger Charlton's improving colt and have cut him to 5-1 from 8-1 in their list. Highbrook, one of three Mark Tompkins-trained entries, is next in their betting at 7-1. Ladbrokes have tightened the odds against Willie Haggas's Let's Get Lost from 12-1 to 8-1.
