THE TOP WEIGHT, Senor El Betrutti will miss the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury on Saturday and will instead run in the Jacky Upton Handicap Chase at the course the previous afternoon. Susan Nock, the grey's trainer, said yesterday: "We worked Senor El Betrutti yesterday and schooled him today. He is in very good form and going like a bomb.''
Graham Bradley, who would have been on board Senor El Betrutti, will now switch to the Amanda Perrett-trained Fine Thyne, who was one of three horses yesterday supported for the race with Coral. The gelding, who is at his best on fast ground, was backed from 14-1 to 11-1, while The Toiseach was cut from 6-1 to 11-2 and Fiddling The Facts from 14-1 to 12-1.
