GRAHAM BRADLEY will have his final ride in the Peterhouse Group Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on 30 October. The jump jockey had been expected to hang up his boots following Chepstow's card this coming Saturday.
But, speaking at Ascot yesterday, Bradley said: "I have delayed it another month, because the horse I was going to ride doesn't run. It will be Wetherby - I have got to ride another winner.
"I am too old now and the old adrenalin rush has gone a little bit for the Plumptons, Fontwells, Sedgefields, and so on. I love riding at the Cheltenhams, Ascots, Newburys, but I'm 39 now and I can't ride forever - I have just got to move on to a different career."
Bradley, who runs his own bloodstock agency, was at Ascot to see Vicious Circle, whom he bought for the gelding's current owners, win the Ritz Club Handicap.
