PAUL COLE will send his filly Bright Generation to contest a valuable race in the United States after her seven-length defeat of Nuryandra in the Milcars Stakes at Sandown yesterday.

The two-year-old daughter of Rainbow Quest ranged alongside the leaders two furlongs out, and went clear in a few strides. She will have one more run in Britain before travelling to Laurel Park in Washington in October for the Selima Stakes.
