STEVE CAUTHEN, who may have ridden his last winner in Britain after failing to agree terms to continue as jockey to Sheikh Mohammed, was back in the winner's circle at the weekend. He was at Turfway Park, Kentucky, to deputise for his mother, Myra, owner of Moregombo, who was successful in the 10th race on Friday night.

Today's meeting at Plumpton passed a stewards' inspection yesterday morning.
