HENRY CECIL yesterday ruled out a virus as the cause of his string's poor form at York last week. Edbaysaan was his only winner from a team including Armiger, Rainbow Lake and Tenby.

'Everything is fine,' Cecil said. 'I don't think there is a virus in the yard. Armiger had been off for a long time and got over-excited. What happened to Rainbow Lake is a bit of a mystery. She'd been working nicely and looks very well now.'
