SHEIKH MOHAMMED'S Criquette was yesterday announced a non-runner in the Oaks. Luca Cumani has admitted defeat in his race to get the filly fit in time for the Classic a week today. The Sheikh's Intrepidity, trained by Andre Fabre, may now come into Oaks reckoning, but she is also engaged in the Prix du Jockey Club and Prix de Diane. Criquette was an 8-1 shot with Coral, who now bet: 7-2 Yawl (from 9-2), 4-1 Wemyss Bight, 11-2 Marillette, 6-1 Sueboog (from 7-1) & Intrepidity, 8-1 Bashayer (from 10-1), 12-1 others.
