MUG punters helped bookmakers clean up in the Alnmouth Stakes at Newcastle on Saturday. Fiendish, sent off a 2-11 favourite, was soundly beaten by Dom One in the three-horse race. Among losing bets recorded in the ring was one of pounds 15,000 to win pounds 3,000, and another of pounds 10,000 to win pounds 2,000.
