NEWBURY
2.40: On this testing going a telling advantage could be held by those with a previous run this year. Pride Of May will certainly show improvement for his recent outing, but CHANCEL will be sharper for his spin on the sand last month and possesses plenty of stamina in his pedigree.
3.10: Risky's record of five wins as a two-year-old, plus proven ability on soft ground, means she is difficult to oppose. A filly with more scope, however, is BULAXIE. She hails from a yard with a team of three-year-olds in formidable form, including the 1,000 Guineas favourite, Mehthaaf, and can display her Classic credentials here.
3.40: Bold Lez has a great chance on last year's early-season form, but Mick Haynes's seven-year-old ran inexplicably badly when well fancied last time. LORD HIGH ADMIRAL was also down the field on his reappearance, but now returns to his best distance. With the ground and a draw in double figures in his favour, a good run looks assured.
