The investigation into the gamble landed by Tuesday's 33-1 Lingfield winner Jo N Jack is likely to leave winning punters out of pocket for some days yet. Despite Jockey Club assurances that no rules have been broken the Betting Offices Licensees' Association is to continue its enquiries and has advised members to withhold payment on the Roger Ingram-trained horse because of 'unusual betting patterns'.
