Tony McCoy begins a six-day whip ban tomorrow and is determined "to give up getting suspensions - it's a bad habit," at Newton Abbot yesterday.
The champion jockey, stood down by the Galway stewards last week, signed off from action with an 88-1 hat-trick aboard Springfield Dancer, Wakt, and Verde Luna around the Devon circuit.
"When I get back I'll be going flat out for a second championship," McCoy said.
