PAUL MELLON, the owner of the great Mill Reef, the winner of the Derby, Eclipse Stakes, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in 1971, has died, aged 91. Mellon, an American, also owned Glint Of Gold, runner up to Shergar in the 1981 Derby, Diamond Shoal, and Forest Flower.
