The John Dunlop-trained Tamnia (ridden by Mark Rimmer) and Mark Tompkins's Fag End (Nigel Day) finished 10th and 11th behind the easy three-length winner La Blue (paid 7.1-1) in the German 1,000 Guineas, the Group Two pounds 54,054 Arag Preis over a mile, at Dusseldorf yesterday.

n Mark Johnston and Jason Weaver teamed up to land the Swiss 2,000 Guineas, the pounds 8,523 Grosser Preis der Zuritel (1m), at Dielsdorf, Zurich, yesterday with the 1.3-10 favourite Double Diamond, who scored by half a length.
